Llanddwyn (Year 2)
Welcome to Llanddwyn Classroom!

I would like to welcome year 1 pupils to the class. Our classroom is a happy environment where everybody strives to give their best. We encourage pupils to be positive, ambitious, confident and have a thirst for learning.
Theme: An exciting term is ahead with a new theme which is ‘The Farm’. We will be learning about farm animals, produce, life cycle of a hen, machinery and researching from farm to fork. At the beginning of term the children share their ideas, which we include in the class’ work during the term. Purposeful lessons will be prepared to stimulate the children to learn and enjoy, and to give them valuable experiences.
Reading: Reading sessions will be conducted on a daily basis. We
encourage the children to read as often as they can, and kindly ask you to record any comments into the reading record. Reading books to be returned daily. Your child will receive a new reading book
weekly.
Physical Education: The P.E lesson will be held every Friday. We
kindly ask you to ensure suitable clothing for the lessons (t-shirt, shorts and
trainers).
Fruit: This year we will be opening a fruit shop in the class. We would appreciate if your child would bring £1 every Monday morning, please. Children are allowed to bring a drink of water to school.
SeeSaw: Remember to join your child’s class on SeeSaw. Any important messages, pupil and class successes will be shared using this app.
